AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 13 (UPI) -- Richard Hamilton led six players in double figures Wednesday night as Detroit won its eighth straight game, 103-94 over Orlando.

The Magic was pushed to the bring of elimination from the playoff chase.

Hamilton scored 14 points, as did Tayshaun Prince and Carlos Arroyo.

Orlando, which got a career-best 30 points from Jameer Nelson, has lost five straight.

Detroit missed just five of 19 shots in the first period and eventually took an 18-point lead at the break.

The Magic came within 10 in the second half only to dee Detroit score 10 straight.
