NEW YORK, April 13 (UPI) -- A single by Jose Reyes scored Victor Diaz in the 11th inning Wednesday night, giving the New York Mets a 1-0 win over Houston.
Dan Wheeler (0-1) walked Diaz leading off the 11th and Diaz moved up on a sacrifice from Chris Woodward.

That brought up Reyes, who lashed a liner up the middle that glanced off the glove of shortstop Adam Everett. It was one of just four hits for the Mets.
After losing their first five games of the season, the Mets have won three in a row.
Mike DeJean (1-0) got the win as the New York relief corp allowed two hits over four innings.
