Fernando Gonzalez upset in Brazil tennis

COSTA DO SAUIPE, Brazil, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Olympic bronze medalist Fernando Gonzalez of Chile knocked out of the Brazil Open on Tuesday in a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 loss to Peter Luczak of Australia.

Gonzalez, originally seeded No. 2, was the highest seed in the draw after the withdrawal of top-seeded Gaston Gaudio of Argentina. Gaudio, the French Open champion, won two tournaments in two weeks before pulling out in this one.
