CLEMSON, S.C., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Rashad McCants scored 23 points Wednesday night as No. 6 North Carolina downed Clemson, 77-58.
The Tar Heels, playing for the first time since falling to Wake Forest last Saturday, also got 12 points from Marvin Williams. North Carolina is 15-2 on the year and 4-1 in ACC play.

Clemson (10-7, 1-4) was paced by 14 points each from Sharrod Ford and Cheyenne Moore.
The game was deadlocked at the half, but North Carolina scored the first 11 points of the second period.
