NBA: Washington 107, Seattle 96

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Gilbert Arenas scored 27 points Thursday night in leading Washington to a 107-96 decision over Seattle.

The SuperSonics have lost two games in a row for the first time this season.

Larry Hughes added 21 points and Antawn Jamison 19 in helping the Wizards win their third straight.

Seattle was led by Rashard Lewis with 35 while Ray Allen had 17.

Washington trailed by 19 in the second half, but rallied within six midway through the fourth quarter. Washington then went on an 11-4 run to clinch the contest.
