NBA: Seattle 98, Miami 96

MIAMI, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Ray Allen scored 35 points Monday to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 98-6 victory over the Miami Heat.

Rashard Lewis added 17 points and 13 rebounds for the SuperSonics, who won their sixth straight road game.

Dwyane Wade scored 28 points and Shaquille O'Neal 25 for the Heat, who had a franchise-best winning streak of 14 games come to an end.

O'Neal had 14 rebounds.

The game was tied at 95-95 in the final 20 seconds, but Danny Fortson gave his team a one-point edge on a free throw with 13.3 remaining.

On the following possession, Damon Jones of Miami missed a three-pointer with the rebound going to Christian Laettner, who could also not sink a fall-away jumper.
