NBA: Houston 81, San Antonio 80

HOUSTON, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Tracy McGrady's incredible performance in the final moments Thursday night brought Houston an 81-80 victory over San Antonio.

McGrady scored 13 points in the closing 33 seconds, including a three-pointer with 1.7 seconds to play. Houston trailed by 12 points with less than a minute remaining.

Houston won its third straight game with McGrady scoring 33 points and Yao Ming 27.

Tim Duncan scored 26 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for San Antonio.

McGrady converted a four-point play with 24.3 seconds to go, bringing Houston within 78-75. After two free throws boosted the Spurs' lead to five, McGrady hit a three-pointer with 11.2 left.

San Antonio then turned the ball over and McGrady raced down court quickly enough to hit the game-winning shot.
