COL BKB: North Carolina 70, Indiana 63

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Rashad McCants produced 19 points Wednesday night to help No. 11 North Carolina outbattle Indiana, 70-63, for its fifth straight win.

Raymond Felton chipped in 18 for the Tar Heels (5-1), who fought off the Hoosiers throughout the latter stages of the game.

North Carolina built a 10-point lead midway through the second half and Indiana could come no closer than five the rest of the day.

The Hoosiers (2-1) were led by 18 points from Bracey Wright and 16 from Robert Vaden.
