NBA: Philadelphia 98, Boston 95

BOSTON, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson ignited a big run in the fourth period Wednesday night and scored 30 points in rallying Philadelphia past Boston, 98-95.

Philadelphia's Jim O'Brien and Boston's Doc Rivers coached their teams for the first time. O'Brien resigned as coach of the Celtics last January.

The 76ers trailed by 12 going into the final period, but ripped off an 11-0 surge. Marc Jackson added 15 points for Philadelphia.

Boston wasted a 35-point, 13-rebound effort by Paul Pierce. The Celtics owned as much as a 71-53 lead in the third period, which they began with an 18-2 run.
