HOUSTON, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- David Carr passed for 276 yards and one touchdown Sunday as the Houston Texans surprised Jacksonville 20-6.
Carr was 26-of-36 as the Texans improved to 4-3 with their fourth win in five games.

Byron Leftwich was 25-of-40 for 227 yards for the Jaguars. He was intercepted twice.
Jacksonville, which had won its previous two games, dropped to 5-3.
Jimmy Smith caught nine passes for 117 yards for Jacksonville.
Houston is .500 after seven games in a season for the first time in franchise history.
