MLB: Tampa Bay 11, Toronto 4

TORONTO, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff went three for five with a home run and scored three times Friday night as Tampa Bay downed Toronto, 11-4.

B.J. Upton added a three-run homer for the Devil Rays and both Julio Lugo and Tino Martinez drove in two runs.

Doug Waechter (4-7) recorded his first victory since June 2, allowing four runs on four hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Toronto lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Tampa Bay broke a 2-2 tie with four runs in the fifth. Carl Crawford opened the inning with a single and scored on Lugo's double. Huff then doubled in Lugo, Rocco Baldelli singles and Martinez brought in both runners with a triple.
