CLEVELAND, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Jarrod Washburn, who had been out since July 20 with a rib injury, gave up one run and two hits in five innings Saturday as Anaheim beat Cleveland, 6-1.
Washburn (11-5) struck out six and walked only one.
Garret Anderson went 3-for-5 with an RBI single and Vladimir Guerrero had two hits and scored a run for the Angels.
Coco Crisp finished 2-for-3 and drove in the Indians' lone run as Cleveland suffered its fourth straight loss.
Crisp's RBI single in the bottom of the second gave the Indians a 1-0 edge. The hit scored Josh Phelps, who doubled earlier in the inning.
Jason Davis (2-7) took the loss despite yielding just one earned run in five innings. The righthander, who walked three and fanned three, was charged with three runs overall on four hits.
