CLEMSON, S.C., Sept. 4 (UPI) -- An 11-yard Charlie Whitehurst to Kyle Browning touchdown pass in the second overtime Saturday lifted Clemson over Wake Forest 37-30.
Whitehurst led the 15th-ranked Tigers with 20 completions for 288 yards and two touchdowns. Airese Currie caught nine of Whitehurst's passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.

Wake Forest has lost 26 straight road games against ranked opponents.
