Cubs trade for DiFelice, Grieve

MONTREAL, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- The Chicago Cubs on Tuesday got catcher Mike DiFelice from Detroit and outfielder Ben Grieve from Milwaukee -- both for a player to be named later.

DiFelice, 35, will be joining his fifth major league team since his debut in 1996. He has spent the majority of 2004 with Triple-A Toledo. In 13 games with the Tigers, he hit only .136. He is a career .240 hitter with 28 home runs and 157 RBI.
