MASON, Ohio, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty snapped the winning streak of Roger Federer Tuesday, beating the Swiss star in an Ohio tournament.
Hrbaty eliminated the world No. 1 player 1-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-4 in the first round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters Series event.

Federer, winner of two grand slam titles this year, had not lost in 23 matches while winning four tournaments in a row.
In another upset, Russia's Mikhail Youzhny defeated Nicolas Massu of Chile.
Other winners included Spaniards Feliciano Lopez and Tommy Robredo and Thomas Johansson of Sweden.
