INDIANAPOLIS, July 23 (UPI) -- Andy Roddick produced a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Dominik Hrbaty Friday in advancing to the semifinals of the RCA Championships.
Seeded No. 1 in this tournament and ranked No. 2 in the world, Roddick coasted despite having had to play two matches Thursday. He made it to his seventh semifinal of the year.

He will meet Ivan Ljubicic after the Croat surprised Sebastien Grosjean 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.
In the other quarterfinals, Gregory Carraz defeated Noam Okun, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, and Nicolas Kiefer eliminated up Paradorn Srichaphan 7-6 (9-7), 7-6 (7-5).
