BOSTON, June 27 (UPI) -- Curt Schilling labored through six innings and Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz each knocked in three runs Sunday as Boston routed Philadelphia, 12-3.
Facing the team that he helped lead to the World Series in 1993, Schilling (10-4) recovered from an early 3-0 deficit to improve to 7-0 in nine starts at Fenway Park this season.
Schilling surrendered three runs and eight hits, walking two and striking out seven as he joined Texas' Kenny Rogers as the only 10-game winners in the American League.
Ramirez and Nomar Garciaparra delivered consecutive two-out, two-run doubles in the third, giving the Red Sox a 4-3 lead. Ramirez also had an RBI double in the seventh.
Ortiz had a two-run homer in the fifth and an RBI double in the eighth.
Mark Bellhorn added a three-run homer in the eighth off Billy Wagner.
Pat Burrell and David Bell hit solo homers for Philadelphia.
