MLB: Chi. Cubs 7, Chi. White Sox 4

CHICAGO, June 25 (UPI) -- Mark Grudzielanek hit his first home run of the season Friday, helping boost the Chicago Cubs to a 7-4 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Sidelined for more than two months with a right Achilles tendon injury, Grudzielanek was activated from the disabled list Saturday. Making his third start since returning, he hit a three-run homer in the fifth to give the Cubs a 4-1 lead.

After Paul Konerko belted a three-run homer in the eighth to pull the White Sox within 6-4, LaTroy Hawkins retired all four batters he faced for his 10th save.

Todd Hollandsworth had two hits and scored twice and Michael Barrett drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs, who won for the fourth time in six games.
