SAN FRANCISCO, June 22 (UPI) -- Cody Ranson drove in a run with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday to give San Francisco a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Ransom's hit followed a single by Dustan Mohr and walks to Damon Minor and Ray Durham.

The Dodgers had tied the game at 2-2 on a two-out single by Jayson Werth in the top of the inning.
San Francisco starter Kirk Rueter allowed seven hits and a run in 6 2/3 innings. Four relievers followed, including Matt Herges, (4-2) who gave up the other run and got the win.
Los Angeles starter Odalez Perez allowed seven hits and two runs in 7 2/3 innings. Reliever Guillermo Mota (3-2), the victim of the Giants' winning rally, took the loss.
