Cabrera leads Volvo PGA Championship

SURREY, England, May 29 (UPI) -- Argentina's big-hitting Angel Cabrera holds a one-stroke lead going into Sunday's final round of the Volvo PGA Championship.

Cabrera moved in front Saturday with a birdie-birdie-eagle run to start his back nine en route to a 4-under-par 68. The 34-year-old has a three-round total of 12-under 204.

Halfway leader Justin Rose opened the door by managing only a par 72 and fell into a share of second with Scot Scott Drummond, Swede Joakim Haeggman and South African Darren Fichardt.

Drummond is ranked 435th in the world. Never higher than 16th on the European tour and 186th on this season's Order of Merit, Drummond had a 68 on his 30th birthday.

Ernie Els shared second after two rounds but fell back to seventh. Ranked third in the world, he bogeyed four of the first eight holes but finished eagle-birdie for a 72-207.
