Armando Benitez (1-0) walked the bases loaded in the top of the 10th, but induced Shea Hillenbrand to ground out to escape the trouble.

Hillenbrand, who had a great start to the game with an RBI triple in the second and a solo homer in the fourth, also lined out with the bases loaded to end the Arizona eighth.

Juan Pierre led off the bottom of the 10th with a single against Bruney (2-1). After Mike Lowell flied out, Pierre stole second and Arizona Manager Bob Brenly elected to walk slugger Miguel Cabrera, who was ahead in the count 2-0.

Bruney then walked Abraham Nunez to load the bases before walking Redmond on five pitches to force home Pierre.

Florida has won back-to-back games after dropping four of five.
