Ivan Rodriguez drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double off Dave Lee and Jason Anderson recorded an out before walking four straight batters, forcing in two runs. Inge followed with a homer for a 15-3 cushion.

Detroit starter Jeremy Bonderman (2-1) benefited from the support after allowing three runs, five hits and five walks in five innings.
