NEW YORK, April 11 (UPI) -- Bubba Crosby ignited the offense with a three-run home run Sunday as the New York Yankees rallied for a 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Crosby has two home runs in as many starts. He hit a two-run homer Friday and his homer Sunday gave the Yankees a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning.
Mike Mussina (1-2) overcame a shaky start to record his 200th career victory. Mussina was hit hard in the first inning, giving up three runs on Frank Thomas' RBI single and Carlos Lee's two-run double.
But he battled his way through 6 1/3 innings, allowing four runs and seven hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
The Yankees entered Sunday's game last in the American League in hitting at .208.
Chicago starter Dan Wright(0-1) walking two in the fourth before Crosby drilled an 0-2 pitch into the upper deck.
