MLB: Boston 6, Toronto 4 (12 innings)

BOSTON, April 11 (UPI) -- David Ortiz hit a two-run homer with none out in the bottom of the 12th inning Sunday to give Boston a 6-4 victory over Toronto.

Curt Schilling made his first start as a Red Sox at Fenway Park. Schilling, who won his Red Sox debut on Tuesday at Baltimore, gave up four runs and eight hits in eight innings. The righthander struck out 10 without a walk and left trailing, 4-2.

The Red Sox rallied as Kevin Millar delivered an RBI single in the eighth and Mark Bellhorn's hit in the ninth sent the game into extra innings.

In the 12th, Bill Mueller drew a leadoff walk against Aquilino Lopez (0-1) and Ortiz followed with his homer.

Eric Hinske hit a two-run homer off Schilling in the sixth and an RBI groundout for the Blue Jays, who have lost five of their first six games.
