NHL: Tampa Bay 5, Nashville 2

NASHVILLE, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Cory Stillman set up three tallies and Tim Taylor added a goal and an assist Thursday night to carry Tampa Bay past Nashville, 5-2.

Tampa Bay had a franchise-record six-game winning streak halted with Tuesday night's 2-1 setback against Washington. But the Lightning wasted little time getting back in a groove, scoring three times in the opening 25:17.

Brad Richards and defenseman Dan Boyle had power-play goals and Pavel Kubina had an even-strength tally as Tampa Bay defeated the Predators for the fourth time in six games in Nashville.

Denis Arkhipov had both goals for the Predators, who have dropped two straight games since an 11-game unbeaten streak at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.

All-Star goaltender Tomas Vokoun had another rough outing, allowing four goals on 28 shots.

Nashville fell to 17-7-4-1 at home.
