COL BKB: Tennessee 65, Florida 63

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Scooter McFadgon scored 24 points Saturday, including two free throws with 14 seconds to go, as Tennessee edged Florida, 65-63.

McFadgon's two free throws were the key points in a wild final minute as Florida's Anthony Roberson was fouled attempting a game-tying three-pointer with five seconds to go and the Gators trailing, 64-61. Roberson missed the first of his three attempts but made his final two.

C.J. Watson was fouled on the ensuing inbounds pass and made 1-of-2 with 4.4 seconds remaining. David Lee grabbed the rebound and got the ball to freshman Lee Humphrey, whose three-pointer at the buzzer hit the rim.

Brandon Crump had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Tennessee (11-6), which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Roberson and Matt Walsh each had 17 points for Florida (13-5), which had won six of the seven previous meetings between the teams.
