TORONTO, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Bryan McCabe scored two power-play goals and Nik Antropov added a goal and an assist Tuesday as Toronto posted a 4-1 victory over Calgary.
Toronto's Gary Roberts and Tom Fitzgerald became the first pair of teammates to play in their 1,000th NHL game on the same night.
McCabe helped make the night memorable for the duo with his second two-goal performance in four games. The second tally, which gave Toronto a 3-1 lead, was his 10th of the season.
While Roberts was kept off the scoreboard by the team that drafted him 12th overall in 1984, Fitzgerald got his fifth goal of the season late in the third period.
Antropov snapped a 1-1 tie two minutes into the third and Ed Belfour needed to make just 15 saves for the Maple Leafs.
