NBA: Orlando 105, Phoenix 98

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Tracy McGrady had 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists Monday as Orlando defeated Phoenix, 105-98, and ended a 19-game losing streak.

The Magoc had to overcome a 22-point deficit.

Drew Gooden added 21 points and Juwan Howard 19 for the Magic, who had not won since beating the New York Knicks on the road in their season opener on Oct. 29.

It took 10 games, but Johnny Davis earned his first win as Orlando's coach after replacing fired Doc Rivers on Nov. 18. The Magic also won their first home game after dropping their first 11.

Phoenix jumped out to a 38-16 lead 10 1/2 minutes into the contest and held a 71-54 advantage with 7:22 left in the third quarter before Orlando stormed back to take an 81-80 lead into the final quarter.

Shawn Marion had 29 points and 17 rebounds for the Suns.
