CINCINNATI, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Bill Hall hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning Thursday afternoon as Milwaukee edged Cincinnati, 4-3.
With the win, the Brewers extended their winning streak to 10 games and completed their first four-game sweep of the Reds.
Geoff Jenkins homered in every game of the series, including a solo shot off Paul Wilson in the third inning, before leaving in the seventh with a thumb injury.
The Brewers are enjoying their longest winning streak since a 10-game run from April 6-May 9, 1988, when they were in the American League. They won a club-record 13 straight in 1987.
Valerio De Los Santos (3-3) pitched two scoreless innings for the win, and Dan Kolb got his 13th save.
Jenkins will be evaluated in Milwaukee on Friday.
