Baltimore 7, Toronto 2

TORONTO, July 26 (UPI) -- Pat Hentgen pitched six solid innings and Melvin Mora and Jeff Conine homered Saturday to power Baltimore a 7-2 win over Toronto.

Coming off his first win in two months, Hentgen (3-5) gave up both runs and five hits with two walks and five strikeouts. The righthander, who won the Cy Young Award with Toronto in 1996, extended a record with his 48th win at SkyDome.

Mora hit a solo shot off Mark Hendrickson (6-7) in the top of the first inning and Conine connected off Juan Acevedo for a two-run shot in the seventh.

Vernon Wells doubled in the third inning to extend his hitting streak to 13 games, but Toronto has dropped three of four.
