Green wins Busch Series New England 200

LOUDON, N.H., July 19 (UPI) -- David Green withstood pressure from pole sitter Kevin Harvick to win Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series New England 200.

Green, the 1994 Busch Series champion, grabbed the lead from Harvick late in the 200-lap event and held on to score his second victory of the year and seventh career. Green also won the Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway on April 12.

The veteran driver regained the series lead in the standings by 36 points over Scott Riggs, who finished 14th.

Matt Kenseth was third for his fifth result in the top three this season. Brian Vickers and Scott Wimmer rounded out the top five. Vickers recorded his seventh consecutive top-10 finish.
