Oakland 7, Anaheim 3

OAKLAND, Calif., April 5 (UPI) -- Erubiel Durazo homered and drove in four runs and Ted Lilly pitched 7 1/3 innings Friday night as the Oakland Athletics rolled to a 7-3 victory over the Anaheim Angels.

Durazo, who was acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks in a four-team trade on Dec. 16, has seven hits, including two homers, in his first 15 at-bats and is the first player in Oakland history to have 10 RBI after just four games.

The 28-year-old first baseman capped a three-run first inning with a two-run single and hit a two-run homer off starter Kevin Appier (0-1) in the fifth to make it 7-0.

Lilly (1-0) was superb in his season debut, allowing two runs and three hits. Chad Bradford pitched 1 1/3 hitless innings for his first save.

Appier (0-1) was shelled for seven runs and eight hits in just four innings.
