MELBOURNE, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Orlando Hernandez tossed four scoreless innings and Peter Bergeron broke out with his first two hits of the spring Thursday as the Montreal Expos defeated the Cleveland Indians, 5-2.

Hernandez allowed just two hits and struck out three without a walk for the win. The righthander has allowed three hits while tossing seven scoreless innings this spring.

Rocky Biddle struck out two in a perfect ninth for the save.

Bergeron snapped a none-for-20 drought with an RBI single in Montreal's five-run fifth inning. Scott Hodges' two-run double highlighted the frame.

Cleveland's Wendell Magee hit a solo homer off Scott Downs in the eighth inning.

Ricardo Rodriguez was tagged for five runs and four hits in four innings with three walks and three strikeouts to take the loss.
