Elio Serrano picked up the win, striking out two during hitless eighth and ninth innings.

Angels starter Scott Schoeneweis surrendered four runs and five hits, struck out three and walked one in two innings. He hit the first batter of the game, Ozuna, and committed a throwing error in the second inning.
