L.A. Clippers 110; Milwaukee 104

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- High scoring Ray Allen was held without a point in the fourth quarter Wednesday night as the lowly Los Angeles Clippers held off Milwaukee, 110-104.

The playoff-hopeful Bucks ended up with their first three-game losing streak in over two months.

They are seventh in the Eastern Conference, and went a perfect 6-0 away from the Bradley Center in January, but are 0-2 on the road this month, having dropped the first two contests of a four-game western swing.

Los Angeles took the lead for good, 23-22, on a jumper by Elton Brand with 3:38 left in the first quarter, but held just a 103-102 edge after Milwaukee's Michael Redd scored on a leaning jump shot and free throw with 1:35 remaining.

Lamar Odom then countered with a driving hook shot 15 seconds later and 1-of-2 free throws with 47 seconds to play. After Allen missed a short jumper in the paint with 37 seconds left, Eric Piatkowski sank a pair from the line and Milwaukee got no closer than four points in the final 30 seconds.

Corey Maggette scored 23 points, Brand 20, and Odom and Piatkowski 13 apiece for the Clippers, who had lost nine of their previous 11 contests.

Sam Cassell contributed 19 points, Allen 19, and Redd 18 and 11 rebounds for the Bucks, who have lost their last three road games against the Clippers.
