Florida 3, Montreal 0

MONTREAL, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Roberto Luongo recorded his sixth shutout and Olli Jokinen and Viktor Kozlov each had a goal and an assist as the Florida Panthers snapped a four-game winless streak Tuesday night with a 3-0 blanking of the Montreal Canadiens.

A Montreal native, Luongo made 12 of his 24 saves in the first period as he broke his own single-season team record for shutouts and helped the Panthers end a two-game skid against the Canadiens.

Florida ended an 0-2-1-1 stretch with their first win since Luongo blanked Pittsburgh on Feb. 6.

The Panthers had a 1-0 lead when Jokinen scored his 31st goal 13 1/2 minutes into the second period. The All-Star center helped set up Kozlov's 17th goal less than two minutes later to give him 100 points with Florida.

Jokinen has six goals and five assists during a six-game points streak and Kozlov has scored a goal in three straight contests.

Jeff Toms, who was recalled from the minors on Monday, added his first goal since April 10.

Jose Theodore made 27 saves but yielded three goals on 10 shots in the second period as the Canadiens failed to earn a point for the first time in five games (3-1
