ST. LOUIS, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Keith Tkachuk scored 3:26 into overtime Thursday night to give the St. Louis Blues a 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres and extend their unbeaten streak in the series to eight games.

With five goals in as many games, Tkachuk netted his third in two contests off a feed from Pavol Demitra to post his fifth consecutive 20-goal season. The former 50-goal scorer has 11 tallies in 17 career games against Buffalo.

Dallas Drake scored his 12th goal and Brent Johnson stopped 16 shots for St. Louis, which extended its home unbeaten run over Buffalo to four games (3


1).

J.P. Dumont netted the lone tally for the Sabres, who have dropped three in a row and have just one win in their last five (1-1-1-2).
