GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Matt Bonner scored 25 points Wednesday night as seventh-ranked Florida extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 77-64 victory over Tennessee.

The game marked the debut of Danish freshman Christian Drejer, who had yet to play due to a series of injuries and ailments.

The 6-8 swingman has drawn the attention of NBA scouts, but played only sparingly and did not collect his first collegiate points until he sank a pair of free throws with 80 seconds. The crowd, which included members of Drejer's family who traveled all the way from Denmark, cheered wildly.

Florida (14-2, 3-0 SEC East) is off to the second-best start in school history, behind only last season's 14-1 effort. The Gators also extended their home winning streak to 13 games.

Ron Slay had 17 points for Tennessee (8-4, 1-2), which pulled out its first SEC victory with a 66-64 triumph at Mississippi on Saturday but has lost 11 of its last 12 games in Gainesville.
