ST. LOUIS, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Cory Stillman scored two goals and set up another and Brent Johnson made 30 saves Monday night to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 5-0 blanking of the Los Angeles Kings.

On a roster that boasts the likes of Keith Tkachuk, Doug Weight and Pavol Demitra, Stillman increased his total to 35 points, one behind Weight for the team lead.

With St. Louis clinging to a 1-0 lead, Stillman wristed a shot from the right corner that deflected off goaltender Jamie Storr and into the net at 1:53 of the third period. It was his 12th goal of the season.

After assisting on Demitra's 10th tally three seconds after a Los Angeles penalty expired, Stillman netted a power-play goal with 8:07 remaining to increase St. Louis' lead to 4-0.

Tkachuk capped the scoring with 66 seconds to play while Johnson recorded his second shutout of the season and the 11th of his career.

The victory ended the Blues' three-game winless slide and was just their second in the last eight contests.
