PHOENIX, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Marian Gaborik scored two goals and assisted on four others Saturday night, including two power-play tallies by Andrew Brunette, as the Minnesota Wild posted their first win at America West Arena, a 6-1 triumph over the Phoenix Coyotes.

After collecting five goals and one assist in nine career games against Phoenix, the 20-year-old Gaborik matched that point total while setting a franchise record for most points in a game.

Brunette and Gaborik scored 40 seconds apart in the first period to open a 2-0 lead for the Wild, who improved to 6-1-1 -- the best start in their three-year existence.

Pascal Dupuis had a goal and two assists and Cliff Ronning added two assists for Minnesota, while Fernandez turned away 39 shots to remain undefeated at 5
