NASHVILLE, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Scottie Upshall and Vladimir Orszagh scored power-play goals Tuesday to lead the Nashville Predators to a 2-0 exhibition victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Upshall, the Predators' top pick who remains unsigned, scored with 8:46 left in the first period before Orszagh recorded his third goal of the preseason 4:56 into the second.

Tomas Vokoun registered 23 saves for Nashville, stopping 10 shots in the first, nine in the second and four in the third.

Steve Passmore turned aside 22 shots for Chicago, which played without several regulars, including Phil Housley, Lyle Odelein, Theo Fleury and Eric Daze.
