Philadelphia 6, Los Angeles 3

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Jimmy Rollins had a career-high five hits and Pat Burrell hit a two-out, two-run single in the eighth inning to snap a tie Sunday night and lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

With two out and the bases loaded in a 3-3 game, Burrell smacked a 1-0 offering from Paul Shuey (1-2) into left-center field to drive in two runs. Before Burrell's at bat, the Phillies were 19 for 109 with the bases loaded this season.

Closer Jose Mesa pitched a perfect ninth to notch his 33rd save.
