Minnesota (ss) 10, Cincinnati 5

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., March 29 (UPI) -- Ken Griffey, Jr. tweaked his right knee while chasing down one of Minnesota's seven doubles Friday night as the Cincinnati Reds dropped a 10-5 decision to a split squad of Minnesota Twins.

Griffey missed some time earlier in the exhibition season due to patella tendinitis in his right knee, the same one he injured Friday night. He will be re-evaluated Saturday.

Joe Mays improved to 4-0 this spring after yielding three runs and four hits in five innings.
