Texas (ss) 15, Minnesota 1

FORT MYERS, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Juan Gonzalez and Bill Haselman each homered and drove in three runs and Kenny Rogers allowed three hits over four innings Wednesday as a split squad of Texas Rangers posted a 15-1 triumph over the Minnesota Twins.

Antwon Rollins, Mike Lamb and Herbert Perry added three hits apiece for the Rangers, who recorded 21 in the rout. Rollins, Frank Catalanotto, Jason Hart and Mike Young each drove in two runs for Texas, which is 10-4 this spring.

Rogers allowed a run, did not walk a batter and struck out four. John Rocker followed with two scoreless innings.

Twins starter Eric Milton surrendered five runs and six hits in three innings. Veteran righthander Mike Jackson, attempting to make the club as a reliever, was tagged for six unearned runs in the sixth.

Jacque Jones had a single and double for Minnesota, which was limited to eight hits.
