Baltimore 6, Los Angeles 5

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Fernando Lunar went two for two with an RBI and Erik Bedard tossed two strong innings Wednesday as the Baltimore Orioles rallied to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-5.

Larry Bigbie also had two hits for Baltimore, which had 10 singles but managed to rally from a 5-1 sixth-inning deficit.

Baltimore starter Chris Brock allowed two runs and four hits in three innings. But Bedard, a 22-year-old lefthander, allowed just a single and struck out two.

Eric Gagne allowed an unearned run over four innings but Matt Herges was hammered in relief, giving up four runs and five hits while retiring just one batter.

Alex Cora had a double and drove in two runs for Los Angeles.
