NASHVILLE, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Tomas Vokoun stopped 27 shots and Vladimir Orszagh collected a goal and two assists Friday night, leading the Nashville Predators to their fifth straight home win, a 5-0 blanking of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Vokoun made eight saves in the first period, 12 in the second and seven in the third in his first start in nearly two weeks. It was his first shutout of the season and fifth of his career and helped Nashville improve to 4-1-1 in their last six home games.

Nashville had a 2-0 lead 2:18 into the second period when Orszagh took a pass inside the blue line from rookie Martin Erat and took a slap shot that ricocheted off the stick of a Pittsburgh defenseman and past goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin.

It was Orszagh's fourth goal of the season and first in 16 games since Oct. 22.

Orszagh also set up the Predators' first goal 1:52 into the opening period. He skated over the blue line and fed Erat, who stickhandled up the right side, skated left and flipped the puck past Aubin for his third goal and first in 10 games.

Orszagh had a hand in Nashville's next goal, a power-play tally just over seven minutes later. After taking a feed from Legwand, he returned the pass to the right faceoff circle, from where Legwand fired a slap shot past Aubin for his seventh goal.

Aubin stopped 22 shots for the Penguins, who have lost two in a row following a three-game unbeaten streak.
