Both Knight and Carney joined Tennessee kicker Joe Nedney as the only two-time winners this year. Knight also was honored in Week 1 and Carney was picked in Week 4.

Knight had eight tackles, two interceptions and a sack in a 34-31 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. In the same game, Carney kicked five field goals, including the game-winner from 27 yards with a second left.

Carney has earned 10 Player of the Week awards, the most by a kicker.

Matthews came off the bench for the injured Jim Miller and completed 25 of 31 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns as the Bears rallied for a 37-31 overtime victory over San Francisco.
