Atlanta 101, Orlando 81

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Jason Terry scored 18 points and Nazr Mohammed added 11 while grabbing 10 rebounds Sunday night as the Atlanta Hawks cruised to a 101-81 exhibition victory over the Orlando Magic.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim was one of three other players in double figures with 15 points and six rebounds for the Hawks, who outscored the Magic in the second half, 52-31, to even their preseason record at 2-2.

Atlanta scored 32 points off 29 Orlando turnovers. The Hawks held the Magic to just 11 points in the final quarter. Orlando shot just 41 percent from the field and was outscored at the foul line, 32-18.

The Hawks connected on 45 percent and overcame a 43-34 rebounding disadvantage.

Tracy McGrady scored 16 points, Grant Hill and Darrell Armstrong added 15 apiece and Mike Miller grabbed 13 rebounds for the Magic, who scored 34 points in the first quarter and just 47 the rest of the way.

Orlando rookie center Steven Hunter, the 15th overall selection out of DePaul, played 15 minutes and had four points and three rebounds.
