'Sister, Sister' alum Tia Mowry expecting baby No. 2

Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Former Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry is going to be a mom of two.

The 39-year-old actress announced she's pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Cory Hardrict by posting a photo of her baby bump Wednesday on Instagram.

Mowry and Hardrict already share 6-year-old son Cree Taylor. The picture shows Hardrict, a 38-year-old actor, and Cree holding and kissing Mowry's growing belly.

Mowry's twin sister and fellow Sister, Sister alum, Tamera Mowry, was among those to react to the news online.

"Yayyyyy! Couldn't wait to tell the world. I'm going to be an auntie!!!!!" she tweeted.

Mowry and Hardrict married in Santa Barbara, Calif., in April 2008, and renewed their vows in 2013 ahead of their fifth wedding anniversary. The actress told Us Weekly in August that she was hoping to have another child.

"I definitely want Cree to have either a brother or sister," she said. "It's just all about timing and if it's God's will. My husband and I live such a crazy, busy life."

Mowry and her sister played Tia and Tamera Landry throughout Sister, Sister's six-season run in the 1990s. The siblings are working on a reboot of the show for fall 2018, as Mowry confirmed this week to Us Weekly.
