Aggressive infection treatment better

DETROIT, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Patients aggressively treated for severe infection in the emergency room are more likely to have better outcomes and reduced hospital stays, according to a study released Tuesday. Henry Ford Health System researchers say treatment for sepsis often is not aggressive enough until the patient reaches the intensive care unit.
